Adenoma Detection Rates & Average Colonoscopy Withdrawal Time  for Eastside Endoscopy Physicians:

Adenoma Detection Rate & Average Withdrawal Time 2016

Adenoma Detection:  The red bar shows the Adenoma Detection rates for our physicians, the blue bar shows the Adenoma Detection rates for gastroenterologists across the country participating in the GIQuIC quality program.  This rate is defined as the percentage of patients age 50 and older undergoing screening colonoscopy, who have one or more precancerous polyps detected.  The goal is 25%.

Average Withdrawal Time:  The red bar shows the Average Colonoscopy Withdrawal Time for our physicians, the blue bar shows the Average Colonoscopy Withdrawal time for gastroenterologists across the country participating in the GIQuIC quality program.  This rate includes the average withdrawal duration for screening and surveillance colonoscopies without intervention and with valid time data.  The goal is 6 minutes.

Patient Satisfaction Ratings

Patients are emailed a Patient Satisfaction survey through SPH Analytics after their procedure.  Eastside Endoscopy results are benchmarked against other endoscopy centers across the country.  These results are reviewed quarterly by our Quality Management Committee and conveyed to the Board.   The link below shows a snap shot of these ratings for 2017.
